New year, New beginning

The Lambretta Obsessions business model is changing. Health conditions and other factors outside Steve’s control has led to a decision to focus on the parts side of the business therefore Steve is not taking on any new work or projects for other people. As sick as everyone is hearing about it, the fact is that the world has changed coming out of the pandemic. The time delays arising from external factors such as shipping and worldwide labour issues, along with the additional workload as a result ie having to seek alternative avenues, has taken its toll. The increased time, financial and mental burden dealing with additional workload and frustrated customers can no longer be absorbed. Lambretta Obsessions is a one-man business and has never been profitable. It has been continued due to a love of the Lambretta, a passion for conservation of this magnificent machine and a desire to help others keep their Lambretta/s on the road. Therefore, in order to keep going, and avoid Steve entering an early grave, the business will now only focus on parts supply.

Please also remember that while Steve will always endeavour to provide advice on Lambretta parts and builds, this should not be taken for granted and will be limited to customers who have purchased parts from Lambretta Obsessions. Believe it or not, there are some people who continue to call Steve for free advice and then go and source their parts (that Steve sells) from other suppliers. That stops now.

Belated Happy New Year to existing loyal and future customers.

From Tash (Steve’s wife and unofficial voluntary worker at Lambretta Obsessions)
